Defence, Aerospace and Technology Show Calendar: December 2026 to July 2028

This calendar lists the next edition of 19 defence, aerospace, technology, health and food shows, from December 2026 to July 2028. It runs from GITEX GLOBAL 2026 in Dubai (7 to 11 December 2026) to Farnborough International Airshow 2028 (17 to 21 July 2028). Dates, venues and organisers come from each organiser's own website, checked on 28 October 2026 and listed under Sources.

Each figure is the latest post-show figure the organiser has published, for the edition named in brackets. An empty cell means we found no such figure on the organiser's own pages.

Shows by sector, December 2026 to July 2028

Some aerospace shows in this calendar also cover defence, in their organisers' words. Farnborough International Airshow 2026 "convened the world of aerospace, defence and space", according to its closing release. ILA Berlin runs a Defence segment with a Defence Park and a delegation programme.

Abu Dhabi: IDEX and NAVDEX 2027

IDEX 2027, the International Defence Exhibition, runs from 25 to 29 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. NAVDEX 2027, the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition, runs on the same dates. ADNEC Group organises both, in association with the Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council. The official website lists opening hours of 9am to 5pm. IDEX NXT, "a dedicated innovation hub" for AI-driven defence technology, makes its debut at IDEX 2027.

Dubai show venues in 2026 and 2027

Six shows in this calendar take place in Dubai, across three venues. The table shows which show uses which venue.

Dubai shows from GITEX GLOBAL 2026 to Dubai Airshow 2027

GITEX GLOBAL 2026 opens with the GITEX Summit at DWTC on 7 December 2026. Its expo then runs at DEC from 8 to 11 December. DWTC describes itself as the "global organiser of GITEX and Gulfood events". GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the 45th edition, convened more than 6,800 exhibitors at DWTC and Dubai Harbour. Our GITEX GLOBAL 2026 guide has more on this edition.

MEBAA Show 2026, the 11th edition, runs from 8 to 10 December 2026 at DWC. MEBAA Show 2024 welcomed more than 10,000 international attendees, according to the organiser.

World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai is the show formerly known as Arab Health. WHX 2027 is its 52nd edition and runs from 25 to 28 January 2027 across DEC and DWTC. WHX Labs, previously Medlab Middle East, is now part of WHX.

MRO Middle East & Aircraft Interiors Middle East 2027 runs on 2 and 3 February 2027 at DWTC. The organiser describes MRO Middle East as bringing together leaders in "aircraft maintenance, repair, and operations". The 2026 edition featured over 300 exhibitors for the first time.

Gulfood 2027 runs from 15 to 19 March 2027 across DWTC and DEC, the two-venue format Gulfood 2026 also used.

Dubai Airshow 2027 runs from 15 to 19 November 2027 at DWC. Dubai Airshow 2025, the 19th edition, hosted over 1,500 exhibitors and 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries.

Riyadh and Cairo: LEAP 2027, EDEX 2027 and World Defense Show 2028

LEAP 2027 runs from 12 to 15 April 2027 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre, Malham. Tahaluf organises LEAP, which it describes as "a global technology event held annually in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia". The first edition took place in 2022. The organiser's key information page lists 201,000+ attendees for LEAP 2025. DeepFest, LEAP's artificial intelligence programme, is co-located within the main event. EDEX 2027, the 5th edition of Egypt Defence Expo, runs from 6 to 9 December 2027 in Cairo. The venue is the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC), and the Egyptian Armament Authority organises the show. The organiser calls EDEX "Egypt's leading tri-service defence exhibition". For EDEX 2025, it lists 450+ exhibiting companies, 40,000+ visitors and 100+ invited official delegations. Our EDEX 2027 guide covers the venue and the 2025 figures.

World Defense Show 2028, the fourth edition, runs from 16 to 20 January 2028 in Riyadh. The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) organises it. The purpose-built venue covers 800,000 square metres, with three exhibition halls, a land demonstration track and a runway. World Defense Show 2026 welcomed 1,486 exhibitors from 89 countries and 137,000 visitors, according to the organiser.

European defence shows: DSEI UK 2027 and Eurosatory 2028

DSEI UK 2027 runs from 7 to 10 September 2027 at Excel London, at Royal Victoria Dock. Clarion Defence Events organises it. The 2027 theme is "Delivering the Integrated Force". DSEI UK 2025 took place at the same venue under the theme "Preparing the Future Force". The DSEI UK website lists visiting warships, waterborne demonstrations and a land static display among its features.

Eurosatory 2028 runs from 19 to 23 June 2028 at Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre. Coges Events organises it as a subsidiary of GICAT, the French Land Defence and Security Industry Association. Eurosatory 2026 was the 29th edition. It drew 2,633 exhibiting companies from 67 countries and 59,972 industry visitors, according to the organiser. The same 2026 edition welcomed 440 official delegations from 95 countries.

European aerospace shows: AIX 2027, MRO Europe 2027, ILA Berlin 2028 and Farnborough 2028

Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2027 runs from 6 to 8 April 2027 at Hamburg Messe. RX organises AIX, which is co-located with World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo. AIX launched in 2000 in Cannes before moving to Hamburg, according to RX.

MRO Europe 2027 runs from 19 to 21 October 2027 in Amsterdam. MRO Europe 2025, held at Excel London, brought together 11,331 industry professionals, according to Aviation Week. Our MRO Europe guide has more on the show.

ILA Berlin 2028 runs from 17 to 21 May 2028 at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport. Trade visitor days are 17 to 19 May, and public days are 20 and 21 May. BDLI hosts ILA in cooperation with Messe Berlin. ILA Berlin 2026 counted 765 exhibitors from 37 nations and around 110,000 participants.

Farnborough International Airshow 2028 runs from 17 to 21 July 2028 at Farnborough, south-west of London. Farnborough International Airshow 2026 welcomed 141,580 trade and public visitors, according to the organiser. It reported commercial deals worth over $84.7 billion at the 2026 show. United States shows: CES 2027, SHOT Show 2027 and Sea-Air-Space 2027

CES 2027 runs from 6 to 9 January 2027 in Las Vegas. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) owns and produces CES. Its venues sit in three campuses, called LVCC Campus, Venetian Campus and C Space Campus. Media days run on 4 and 5 January at Mandalay Bay. The CES 2026 audit counted 148,392 participants and 4,100+ exhibitors.

NSSF SHOT Show 2027 runs from 19 to 22 January 2027 at Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. NSSF, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, owns and operates the show. The 2026 SHOT Show, the 48th, had 2,744 exhibitors. They spanned target shooting, hunting, outdoor recreation, personal defence and law enforcement.

Sea-Air-Space 2027 runs from 4 to 7 April 2027 at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. It is "Powered by the Navy League of the United States", and the exposition was founded in 1965. The organiser calls it "the largest maritime exposition in the U.S." Sea-Air-Space is not open to the public.
