What MRO Middle East 2027 covers

MRO Middle East is an exhibition for aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). The official About page describes MRO Middle East and Aircraft Interiors Middle East as "a two-day exhibition taking place annually in Dubai". Its Sustainable Events page describes the organiser, Aviation Week, as "a division of Informa".

The Why Attend page describes MRO Middle East as "the leading event in the region for the commercial aviation aftermarket". It says the show "annually gathers over 8,000 visitors representing airlines, lessors, MROs, OEMs, suppliers and industry experts". OEMs are original equipment manufacturers. The About page calls it the "Largest event of its kind in the MENA region", meaning the Middle East and North Africa.

The home page lists three event features. They are the exhibition, live show floor theatres "available to all attendees" and "Formal and informal networking opportunities throughout".

Aircraft Interiors Middle East 2027 and its product categories

Registration rules for the 2026 edition

The registration page still online carries the 2026 edition's details, so the rules below are those set for the 2026 edition. For 2026, it listed five badge types: visitor, exhibitor booth staff, airline, lessor and media. "Airline/Lessor/Press are vetted to ensure compliance with the registration criteria," the page said.

For the 2026 edition, the page called the event "a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public". Children younger than 16 could not attend, and anyone 16 or older needed business proof. Identification was required at all times. The organiser recommended "smart business attire" and ruled out jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flip-flops and sandals. Each registration needed a unique email address.

Better Stands Program rules for raw space stands at MRO Middle East 2027

The Better Stands Program asks exhibitors and their appointed contractors to move away from "disposable, single use stands". It favours "reusable or recyclable structures", says the event's Better Stands page. "At Aviation Week Network we are committed to have all raw space stands at BRONZE level as a minimum going forward," the page adds. Informa introduced the programme, according to the organiser's 2026 Better Stands brochure.

The organiser's Better Stands Exhibitor Information classes every stand as Disposable, Bronze, Silver or Gold. A disposable stand is "a space only (raw space) build that is used only once at a single event". "If a stand does not meet all the elements in the Bronze level then it is classed as disposable," the guide says.

Better Stands levelWhat must be reused, from the organiser's table
BronzeStand structure and walls; platform or raised flooring (excluding surface covering such as carpet); furniture and audio-visual (AV) equipment, including LED walls; lighting
SilverEverything in Bronze, plus fascia and overhead signage, rigged structures, ceilings and display facilities
GoldEverything in Bronze and Silver, plus floor covering and graphics and decorative items, which may be reused or recycled

The organiser's Sustainability FAQ gives frame and fabric, wood stock panels, aluminium modular systems and cardboard flat pack as reusable examples. The onsite Operations Team and Floor Managers assess the construction and dismantling of every space only stand. The Exhibitor Information adds: "Compliance will be monitored throughout the event cycle from stand plan submission through to on-site review and verification."

The 2026 brochure presents Better Stands as "The sustainable way to exhibit at MRO Events". Our MRO Europe exhibitor guide covers MRO Europe in Amsterdam, another event on Aviation Week Network's calendar.

MRO Middle East stand formats and show floor rules

The Exhibitor Resource Center calls space only stands at MRO Middle East 2027 "Stands (Built by You)".

On space only stands, the Exhibitor Resource Center expects "a professionally built custom stand with a high level of finish and safety compliance". The page states that exhibitors may not fix their back walls into neighbouring stand walls. Personal protective equipment, such as safety footwear and high-visibility clothing, is required for contractors and exhibitors entering the hall during build-up.

For the 2026 edition, the registration page set these show floor rules for exhibitors:

  • Company promotion and product sampling had to stay inside the contracted booth space, unless the exhibitor had contracted a marketing opportunity.
  • Hospitality functions, such as receptions, needed the organiser's approval during the event dates.
  • Outboarding was prohibited. The page defined it as a company eligible to exhibit that does not, but hosts event attendees without the organiser's approval.
  • Meetings and events away from the show floor were to take place outside show hours and be registered through the Exhibitor Hosted Events Form.
  • Only booth personnel and contractors could enter the hall before the show floor opened.

MRO Middle East zones, pavilions, lounges and meeting areas

The Zones, Pavilions & Lounges page says zones "group specific exhibitors together". They give attendees a focal point, so visitors know they can find "a cluster of companies on a specific topic". Country pavilions suit members of "a regional aviation cluster or a country trade association", according to the page. Groups planning a country stand can read our national pavilion organiser guide.

The event app runs on desktop and on iOS or Android devices, and is "open for networking pre-event, during the event and post event". Users can browse attendees, agendas, exhibitors and products, send live chat messages and book meetings ahead of time. It also offers an "Interactive floorplan to plan your route onsite". Only registered attendees can access it.

Go Live! Theater at MRO Middle East and its 2026 sessions

The Go Live! Theater is the free show floor theatre at MRO Middle East. The organiser describes it as "Free to attend for all industry professionals" and "Conveniently located on the show floor". "Content spans across both MRO and Aircraft Interiors topics," its page says.

Sessions take the form of "Presentations, Panels and Case studies from regional and international presenters". The page links to an online application form for anyone interested in presenting. On 28 October 2026, it listed the 2026 presentations.

The 2026 programme ran on 4 and 5 February 2026. Session titles in the organiser's 2026 summaries included:

  • Strategic infrastructure developments: Middle East MRO landscape
  • Ensuring supply chain resilience
  • Engine MRO Developments
  • AIME focused session: Redefining cabin accessibility for passengers with reduced mobility
  • Championing continuous sustainability

Airline and lessor programmes at MRO Middle East 2027

Airline and lessor employees in qualifying roles can apply for "a complimentary VIP Pass", according to the Airline Pass page. Airline applicants must work at "a full service, low-cost, cargo, charter, private or commercial airline". Lessor applicants need "a technical procurement role at an engine and/or aircraft leasing company". Both need a management-level role or above in engineering, maintenance, technical operations, quality, procurement or supply chain.

Marketing, sales, business development, administrative, customer service and outside consultant roles do not qualify. Consultancies, third party maintenance companies, and engine component or aircraft spare parts suppliers do not qualify either. Applicants must register with a company email address. The Airline/Lessor Pass includes:

  • airline lounge access, which "is at limited availability and will be approved by organisers"
  • all Go Live! Theater sessions on the show floor
  • post-event access to all presentations and materials
  • networking with airline peers
  • access to the exhibition hall

The Airline Buyers Programme "facilitates meetings between exhibitors and buyers from airlines and lessors". Exhibitors are told in advance about a buyer's meeting request, and a time and location are booked. In 2024, over 500 meetings were arranged onsite with 50 approved purchasers from across the region, says the programme page.
